Reservists not extended active duty are not subject to quite the same rules, although normal sexual harassment rules do apply.... but maybe not to Democrats, since otherwise BJ Clinton would have been prosecuted under those laws.
One can imagine a couple not even knowing that the other was a reservist, unless they were in the same unit.
