My dad grew up in Virginia... so we had corn bread often enough. My sister likes it a lot more than I do, she buys the Jiffy mix boxes by the dozen and makes corn muffins mostly.
I love cornbread with a bowl of turnip greens and a lot of pot liquor. We would eat that alot. Also I love cornbread and buttermilk. I know I sound weird now. :)
