I wonder if having 13 of their Muslim comrades in arms beheaded by the Mahdi "Army" will cause the ISF to curl up into little balls of fur in abject fear, or if it'll have the opposite effect.

I doubt any ISF soldiers will be surrendering to anyone soon, let alone the Mahdi terrorists. They'll fight to the death. My guess is that the ISF will clean house, all the way up to the border of Iran.

I wonder how Al Sadr is getting his arms shipments, or is he relying upon Saddam's residue?

Bloody nose? Big deal. Blow his head off. His nose will follow.

Yep. That beheading was stupidity of a fantastic order. It's one thing to do it in secret, masked, and distribute it later on videotape. It's quite another to do it in your backyard.

The tribal heads are already baying for Sadr's blood. Mookie-boy pooched this one. IMHO.

The most effective "IED's", are no longer so "improvised". They're using military grade munitions, with military grade timers, and military designed components. They're coming from Iran.

So is about 85% of the Maddi terrorist Army's support.

The moment we drop-kick Iran, the Maddi so called army will transform themselves into the Maddi Boy Scouts and Rotary clubs.

I knew that; I was asking about the logistics of moving the material. How are they getting the equipment over the border and to Al Sadr?

How do they move the material?

Same way they've been smuggling for thousands of years; bakshish and camels, plus a few of the more modern conveyances.

Check out this link of a mapquest map of Iraq. Then click it a couple of times to zoom focus on the border between Iraq and Iran. I don't have the scale for it (i.e. how long it is), but it's huge. And a lot of that territory is not all that hospitable.

Smuggling arms from Iran to Iraq is a piece of cake for the experienced smuggler, and trust me, the Iranians ARE experienced smugglers.
