IF Conservatives (big C, no other qualifiers needed) do turn out strongly to vote GOP, they will do so holding their noses (AGAIN) and not because they endorse something as nebulous (and triangulated) as "compassionate conservatism".

Bush should not mistake GOP votes as an endorsement of open borders.

Tex. Gov. Perry should not mistake votes as an endorsement of the NAFTA highway land grab.

True, but true conservatives understand the absolute disaster of the other party in charge. They know the importance of voter turnout.
