That's a cold hard fact, not a question or even a rhetorical question. I shudder, cringe and get goose bumps every time I hear this and it's much too often.
Show me a politician who doesn't speak with forked tongue. I believe that now days it is a essential for the job. And that, my friends, was the reason our founding fathers built stop gaps into our Republic form of government, dividing up the power. In fact, those stop gaps ARE the definition of a Republic form of government.
The tragedy is that Congress, the courts on all levels and yes, Presidents, cabinets, sometimes even well intentioned officials, but mostly individuals with a constituency rich agenda, have managed to destroy the very foundation and we flounder and flail about trying to stay afloat in a sea of contradiction.
We will go up in someones smoke if we don't take back our power from our internal thieves.
. . . and with all of this, world leaders including our own beloved call this a peaceful religion?

And until we let them know in no uncertain terms that we do not believe them, they will keep on saying it! Politics is politics...our 'leaders' are OUR representatives!
