Immigration is a federal issue; states cannot make any policy pertaining to it. That's how federalism works. I am surprised that an alleged conservative doesn't know this.

Governors of states in the west are providing State National Guard to protect the border. Florida has a Nationa Guard. They are under the Governor. This is where Tom Gallagher comes in. If the feds are slower than molasses in a crisis, you bet I want the Governor to abide by his oath to protect Floridians.
Charlie Crist is stupid but he can be coached. Charlie Crist is a LIBERAL and he is not pro-life. He is no Ronald Reagan and I can get you someone who knows about that.

Charlie Crist is FL AG. He took an oath to uphold the law. If he lies in a debate while he is the current attorney general, he violated his oath and that is perjury. If you'd rather say CHARLIE CRIST LIED, that will work too. He forgot he was FL AG during the debate.

Immigration and response to an emergency are two different things. Louisiana and New Orleans were slow as molasses in responding to Katrina, not the federal government; the state and local authorities did not request or approve federal assistance until things had obviously gone out of control. At one point, the White House was contemplating declaring that a state of insurrection existed so that federal aid could be legally brought into New Orleans.
Either learn what you are talking about, or get used to being shown to be an ignorant fool.

No, it isn't. First, you have not actually established that Crist lied. Your mere assertion is not evidence; indeed, because you are so woefully misinformed about so many things, it's actually evidence to the contrary. Second, lying is not, in and of itself, a violation of his oath as the attorney general.
Let's take a hypothetical case. Joe Shlobotnik, Attorney General for the State of Confusion, comes into his office to start his work. He's physically tired, he just had to ground one of his teenage kids for not being home on time, and he just got a phone call telling him that a very close friend has died. In short, Joe's life is the pits at the moment.
His executive assistant greets him and asks, "How are you, boss?"
Joe says, "Fine."
He has just lied. Let us assume that the State of Confusion's laws are identical to Florida. Please explain exactly how Joe has violated his oath of office. I eagerly await your display of your legal expertise.
