Like US and European Leftists, the Israeli version has seriously misplaced compassion. They view with great favor anything and anyone that is against their own country or system (or those things which built and strengthen it), and they despise those with traditional values because those traditional values are not their own.
It is easy to despise THEM, especially considering the fact that the weakness they show to actual enemies of our way of life encourages those who are evil ("kindness to the cruel is cruelty to the kind" as the Talmud says). However, more than anything else, I feel sorry for them, for their deluded thinking, for their guilt. I'm glad I'm not one of them, and I will never stop fighting their amoral/immoral/weak policies. Hopefully, they will wake up before it is too late-for ALL of us, whether Jews, Americans or Westerners.
It would be nice to feel sorry for them if they were merely harmless and misguided, but they are extremely dangerous in their delusions. I can't find it in me to feel any sympathy for people who are out to destroy me and mine.
