To the Guys at Walter Reed, will see you at the gate this Friday, Sept 1. Get me more names of the ones that monitor this NASCAR site. We would like to acknowledge as many as possible. While I have met many of you, if you don't know me just ask any Freeper where is Coach Bill?
Sorry I haven't been participating much in the last few weeks. Sad news that I hate to bring up here but here goes.
I lost my wife at the end of July from cancer. It has been rough. The kid, 20, and I have been doing some deep sea fishing to get our minds off of it.
Get this, even though he is only 20, I have introduced him to the Atlantic City Casinos teaching him money management. (Or, how to not lose your ass). I had a $200 limit (show), but showed $500 winning and losing. Broke even and got a $50 dinner spiff. So, it worked out.
Hope to be here Sunday after a quick trip to Walter Reed this Friday.
You are doing the right thing by keeping busy. I'm glad you will be visiting Walter Reed. If you see any of the guys, please wish them well and pass along all of our thanks for their service and our prayers for their healing.
I am sorry for your loss, buddy. You and your boy are in my prayers.
Man, you have my prayers and sympathy. I'm truly at a loss for words. Click my name. She had leukemia.
Sorry to hear. Prayers for you and your son.
I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. Please know that I will keep you and your son in my thoughts and prayers.
God bless you and your family. We lost mom last year to the cancer beast.
