The information we feed him in a calm respectful fashion may percolate down to the bottom and then maybe, he'll stop his delusional thinking in a time and place in which he won't have to admit that he's wrong, poor soul.

This is one of the main reasons I love Free Republic--on any topic you can find FReepers with technical knowledge and experience who can overwhelm trolls with facts and evidence. And I learn a lot by reading such posts.
