ROFL! How do I get a job that pays big bucks for writing lengthy studies on the obvious????
My first proposed topic will be a study of whether the sun rises in the east.

Actually, sun doesn't rise. It looks like it is rising from certain points of earth at certain time.

I'm sure that the Karl Rove/ Chimpy McHitlerburton Weather Machine has something to do with that.

And in late June in Nizhniy Tagil, Russia, the sun actually rose in the north-northeast. ;-)

How do I get a job that pays big bucks for writing lengthy studies on the obvious???? No, actually, the NIST study analyzed the actual blueprints and modeled the stresses expected from aircraft impacts and checkpointed them against the known data.
This provides detailed insights into the stresses resulting from an aircraft impact and the weak points in the design, allowing recommendations for future construction.
Any idiot can overdesign; the art is to make get the best value for our construction bucks by making future designs that can avoid pitfalls without busting the budget.

How do I get a job that pays big bucks for writing lengthy studies on the obvious???? NASA was going to give James Oberg a grant to prove that they landed on the moon but withdrew it after news of it leaked out. He said he's going to write it anyway without the grant.

Actually, there are two places on the Earth where the sun never rises in the east.

The Sun appears to rise but that is only an effect of the Earth's rotation.
Earth is moving in relation to the Sun, not the inverse.
