Good. Can I still have the link? I thought many NOLA residents were actually pleased. I heard one man drove his van to the White House to thank the POTUS. And W gave him an audience. But, of course, hubs must have seen it no Fox. No other news would report it.

No.

That is my whole point.

If conservatives want to lead they should show leadership, not kindergarten name calling. It doesn't solve anything and it chases people away from conservative thought that have already been told Republicans don't care about them. Thoughtless remarks drives that point home quite well for the libs and helps them stay in power.

I would be less inclined to listen to people that take cheap shots at my home and don't know all the facts myself.

I'd like to see conservatives seek the higher ground. No pun intended.

I'll be pinging you in a minute to a thread re: the fraccas in Houston attributed to Katrina evacs. I'm in San Antonio and we've had our share, too.

But, we've also got some great people who decided to stay with us and have a lot to offer...mostly great food! I think anyone who lumps 'all' evacs together is ignorant of the facts. Happens in every situation. Rather too bad, too.
