What gives? First of all I thought the clintons and gores hated each other - has this changed? Would she count herself as a "Friend of Al"?
Secondly, what is the context? Seems like she's letting the veil drop and letting the secret out of the bag? Was she at some effete gathering in the hamptons where she thought she was among friends?

That clip was from 1996. I have been searching but have not been able to find the venue and date. It was obviously before a Dem group.
Can't imagine it was anywhere else, although, given her arrogance, an essential stupidity that she stupidly projects onto us... and a mouth that continually confirms both--(of course, you of all people remember this one (THE VOUCHER RANT OF MISS HILLARY: WHY THE WHIFF OF RACISM EXCEEDS THE WORDS), don't you?)--one cannot say for sure....
