Re #19

Having nuke and its delivery system would give some clout to N. Korea. It has not been a good team player, and its behavior will get worse after openly declaring itself as a nuke power.

Besides, China has to worry about Japan under more hawkish prime minister. It would not take long for Japan to amend its constitution and field more and better nukes than China. That scares the hell out of China.

He is probably just on a golf outing. After shooting three holes in one, as he did on his last round, maybe he is going for 4 hones in one?

Apparently his subject were pretty impressed with his golfing ability.

I suspect you feel the same way I do: Well-informed -- by virtue of all the FReepers like Tiger Likes Rooster who make a special effort to keep us informed via postings, translations and sharing special insights.

I would wager that there is no newsroom in the country that is better informed than the audience of this board.

Jim Rob should be doubly proud.

Wholeheartedly agree.

TLR, please read the kind words at #27 from okie01, and thank you again for making this place what it is.

The PRC could score a lot of points with the free world by taking out Dear Leader during one of his little visits.

You can see on many of these international intel type threads, with no shortage of Free Republic members in various places with a variety of resources, that sometimes upward of 5,000-10,000 hits may occur on one good North Korea or China or Middle East thread, even though perhaps only 100 post.

You are right.

We are lurked, read and respected around the world.

You do realize the Chia Head finaly surfaced day before yesterday--according to KCNA--with pics, reviewing a military unit some some lord forsaken place in the DPRK. If the photo time is accurate and not a lie, well, he looked about the same healthwise. Usual jumpsuit, sycophantic DPRK KPA soldiers behind him. One of these days, somebody is going to get close and plug the lil ******.

The Japanese press (TV) is REALLY good at this--following the little marmot around. I am sure their reporters and camera crew roam Beijing and train stations between Pyongyang and Beijing, gingerly passing out fresh Yuan notes for tip offs and bits of local eyewitness information. Some hotel worker or train station employee will let it slip. Sooner or later, give it a day or so, they will zero in on Chia Head's exact whereabouts in Beijing or elsewhere in between, and will have the long lens videos of him getting in and out of a limo somewhere after stuffing his face with peking duck. I put my money on ANN Network being the first to break it.

If so, and they post, I'll repost the video stream links here, TLR.

Maybe the Chinese have summoned their least favorite Flying Monkey to check out these persistent rumors that he's about to detonate a thermonuclear weapon...

A military alliance with Kim Jong-il?

It's high time we do something and stop NK from building nuclear bombs. Why aren't we doing anything to stop them?

Not really. More the pre-makings of a form of a PRC-DPRK split (if the short donged one does not take his carrots in Beijing home to Pyongyang--in which case he will be given 'sticks').

I truly hope Dear Leader takes the carrot home with him.

In the meantime we have to stop him from building more bombs, but it seems to me we're not applying the minimal pressure. We know they have nuclear bombs, have tested them, and building more that can be used against us.

We got to stop them even if it means sending a couple of hundred thousand troops at the borders or going to war.
