It is THIS picture that tells me the humility of this GREAT MAN. He supplicates himself to the Priest, allowing the Blessing to be given. He KNOWS there is something bigger and greater. You just don't see this in any of our prior "leaders"...

This is a sign of his respect for God as well as the respect for the Roman Catholic Church.

This photo and the one that precedes it where the President is waiting behind Laura for his blessing are my favorites. There is the Leader of the Free World, and he has the humility of a child asking for a blessing. The little children who are too young to receive the Eucharist all fold their arms as broadly as the President has done when they walk up to the altar at Mass.

You're right. The former 'Mr. No-Pants President' OBVIOUSLY recognizes no power or authority above or outside himself. I always say, take God out of the equation at your own peril.

Unfortunately, if the President of the greatest nation on earth does not recognize any power above or outside himself, he cannot properly lead anyone...let alone the citizens of the US. Billy boy could not even maintain the WH environment, so how could he lead an entire nation?
