I've had similar thoughts. Aside from the obvious magnetic field of the Earth, there's all the electromagnetic radition from the sun (not to mention the trillions of other suns out there), microwave radiation from the Big Bang is supposedly still permiating the universe. On the sub-atomic level the makeup of atoms, electrons, protons and nuetrons all seem to be electromagnetic.. it just seems to me that the universe is teaming with energy. Just cause we haven't figured a way to tap into it, doesn't necessarily mean it can't be done.

Way too much fanfare to be legit.

Precisely right. We just have not figured it out yet. Sooner or later though, some young Archimedes WILL figure it out, and when all's said and done, he'll have orders of magnitude more $ than Bill Gates.

Neil Cavuto had a story about this subject on his program on Aug.28th.It seems interesting to me,Let's see if it can actually be done.

Since this thing provides "free" energy from permanent magnets, it's probably time to trot out this concept again:
Motionless Electromagnetic Generator Since this device is purported to do the same thing as Steorn's motor/generator/whatever it might be interesting to compare them.
Please note the date of publication of this thread. Apparently it didn't take off like a house afire during the intervening four plus years!
Regards.
