Who the hell really cares? SAT's are useless anyway. I failed miserably on mine and 5 years later graduated Cum Laude from a prestigious university. 15 years later (present time) I landed a 6 figure job with lots of time off. Knowing the definition of obscure words doesn't prove success. Many, many people have done just fine without high SAT scores to pat themselves on the back with.

SAT's are useless

They have some value if they can get some kids into college who would otherwise not have gone. For most college prep types they don't do much but duplicate other information, true, except take up some additional space in a student personnel file.

With all the grade inflation in today's high schools, the SAT's often one of the only things colleges have to go by when accepting or rejecting students.

Also, a lot of larger colleges (i know Ohio State and OU) give scholarships on a graduated scale of standardized test scores.

There's a reason why so many kids, me included, take the test multiple times, do prep courses, etc. Fair or not, the test is extremely important, and becoming more so...
