Government should get out of the education business. All schools should be private, from K-12 to college to grad schools.
Counties and states should start by selling their public schools to private education companies. This would cut local taxes in half, putting money into parents' pockets to make their own education choices.
I agree that governemtn schools are failures and we should adapt new means to educate. We start with competition, we then dismantle the union, we then pay for merit/performance.
