How about this theory? The DBM knows that unless they kill these really bad cases that they created that they will all eventually be hauled before grand juries. The cases are so numerous of treason,Aiding and abetting the enemy,etc that there could be dozens of liberal lefty DBM types with their butts in the Grand Jury chairs for the next couple of years and they want this to go way and go away NOW. Korn and Spikey are two DBM scuzz that will try to put out the flames before their entire profession is in the Sewer,and they are afraid to be behaving in a treasonous manner anymore.
