There is no such thing as separation of church and state, and the state has chosen it's religion.

Exactly. The state religion is liberalism and its perfectly constitutional for the government to attach strings to its programs. That's what they did here. And with no religious exemption, yes the law applies also to the Republican Party.

(No more Olmert! No more Kadima! No more Oslo! )
