The thing that bothers me the most is that I don't believe that they made a mistake.....it appears that it was planned this way...which is worse.
It is sort of tossing a coin and every time guessing wrong, fifteen times in a row. This can be no mistake.
Consider the amount of airtime given to all fabrications regarding Serbs in the last 15 years. Airtime cost serious money. Billions were spent and billions are not spent by this is no mistake. (according to information theory, information is the most unlikely data. "Serbs are genocidal maiancs" would not be newsworthy if true. The fact that it is still repeated so many times shows that it is still not believed)
What is the reason of that?
A historical parallel comes to my mind. During WWII the Brits have mastered deception plan and lured Germans into believing that the Allies will land on the Adriatic coast, not Normandy. As a result, Germans unecessarily kept divisions in the Balkans instead of Russian front or Normandy.
To make the plan more believable, Brits raked up the number of Tito's troops tenfold through their communication channels and secretly supported Communist leader. Tito in turn made the talks with Germans of jointly fighting the Angloamericans when they land (!)
As a side effect, Tito got a foothold and ruled Yugoslavia for almost 40 years. Some 200,000 Serbs paid this with their lives. But who cares, deception plan worked.
In hindsight, it is 20/20 clear what happened. Back then, it was murky and unfathomable.
I can see the similar deception plan here in the making, but can not distance myself far enough to see what it is all about. Only, the experience teaches me that it is likely that hundreds of thousands of Serbs will pay with their lives again.
