I hope their lawsuit is shot. If anyone deserves it, they do.
Keep those hideous pics coming cause there's LOTS of them!!!! Snaggletooth is the Leaker!!
I saw that. It was very good. Brit was hard hitting in his questions. In fact, he opened his show tonight with this story, and had extra force in his voice. I adore Brit Hume.
Need to find out WHO TOLD ARMITAGE, since the trail will lead back to the group where the whole thing was set up.
Sounds like that more accurately describes the media's part in all this.
Excellent!!!
LOL...Keep 'em coming!!
From wikipedia, a very current biography of the "man with no axe to grind"...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Armitage
Corn has been bleating about a White House conspiracy since this whole thing started. He knew the truth and lied about it - his career should be over.
The Wreck of the Patrick Fitzgerald
The legend lives on from the DU on down
On the media called 'Gotcha, Sue me'
Fitz, it is said, never gives up his dead
When the skies of November turn gloomy
With a load of BS twenty thousand times more
Than the Patrick Fitzgerald weighed empty.
The story was not true twas a bone that was chewed
When the gales of November came early.
The ship was the pride of the liberal side
Coming back from some CIA junket
As the big stories go, it was bigger than most
The Ambassadors lying well seasoned
Concluding some terms with yellowcake firms
When they left fully loaded for Niger
And later that night when the ship's bell rang
Could it be the ill wind they'd been feelin'?
The wind in the wires made a tattle-tale sound
And truth broke over the railing
And every man knew, as the captain did too,
T'was the witch of November come stealin'.
The dawn came late and the mint tea had to wait
When the Gales of November came slashin'.
When afternoon came it was freezin' rain
In the face of a hurricane west wind.
When suppertime came, the old cook came on deck sayin'.
Fellas, it's too rough to indict ya.
At Seven P.M. a main story caved in, he said
Fellas, it's been good t'know ya
The captain wired in he had Libby comin' in
And the good ship and crew was in peril.
And later that night when truth came to light
Came the wreck of the Patrick Fitzgerald.
Does any one know where the love of God goes
When the waves turn the minutes to hours?
The searches all say hed have made it a crime
If hed only indicted a Wilson.
He might have split up or he might have capsized;
May have broke deep and took water.
And all that remains is the faces and the names
Of the wives and the sons and the daughters.
Lake Huron rolls, Superior sings
In the rooms of her ice-water mansion.
Old Michigan steams like a young man's dreams;
The islands and bays are for sportsmen.
And farther below Lake Ontario
Takes in what Lake Erie can send her,
And the iron boats go as the mariners all know
With the Gales of November remembered.
In a musty old hall in Detroit they prayed,
In the Maritime Sailors' Cathedral.
The church bell chimed till it rang twenty-nine times
For failed counts of the Patrick Fitzgerald.
The legend lives on from the DU on down
On the media they call 'Gotcha Sue me'.
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early!
He's on the board of Conoco/Philips??
"They are furious!"
They deserve it. Anyone who can be that maliciously wrong for so long deserves to get gobsmacked.
Has anyone been over to DU???
Heck with that, anyone been over at Hardball???
LOL re: Hardball. Chrissy was off tonight, that gal with the dark hair was on (I can't remember her name). She had on isikioff, but I couldn't stand to watch. MSNBC gives me the creeps...they just don't speak any truth or fact.
