"We're both looking for the blowhole."
Looks like the skin was pushed off the top of the mandible, up onto the head. I think I can see eye sockets in one photo, about 2/3 of the way back.
This is an obvious air-breather, but the lack of nostrils would seem to indicate a blow hole of some kind. Gosh I wish I could go there and have a look at this thing in person.
With luck, it won't just disappear into some warehouse somewhere without being thoroughly examined. It does not have the look of a fake.
From the looks of it, lack of nostrils might not be a bad thing if you were there in person. ;)
