Attention Florida interests ... some counties are implementing their emergency plans, especially the long-lead items. For example, Brevard county is closing three schools at 1 PM on Tuesday so they can configure to be special needs shelters. They are: Sherwood Elementary in Melbourne, Oak Park in Titusville and Ralph Williams Elementary in Rockledge. Watch for similar actions from your county's EOC. Remember, no one wants to pull a Nagin so this will be a full-featured response IMHO.
