Please use common sense when posting graphics--keeping in mind there are FReepers who use dial-up access to the internet, and many have java limitations (e.g. satellite loops). In other words--links are better than posting the graphics.

I wouldn't be surprised if the mods have to change the title to TS/Hurricane/TS/TD Ernesto by 5pm, if not sooner.

LOL--That's why I set up the title that way! Easier to edit.

Check out this Ernesto
wind map from last night. See that itty bitty turquiose-colored patch? That was the extent of 40-knot winds. And it doesn't seem the storm regenerated much between Haiti and Cuba, and now has a date with a second mountain range (although a lower one than the first date with Haiti).

That ol' cripple Ff-150 sure had some crazy notions, like rebuking storms and other nonsense, now didn't he.
And...prayer is a tool...

Thanks for the fresh thread. Still hoping to make my 19:25 flight out of MIA Wednesday night.....

The Monday morning 5 day projection looks just like 2005 Opheilla in NC.

Our weather guy this AM...says this TS, if after Cuba it's still even a TS most likely will follow the NHC track on the very eastern edge. In other words, it'll not even hit the USA. We'll see....I kinda think he's right...

Have the tolls been suspended yet?

Watching and waiting here in Sarasota. Don't think we'll be affected by this much, but of course, as we have learned, you never know.

The trend is your friend...and the trend for this storm all along has been east....
To: NautiNurse
11 AM Advisory out - winds down to 40 mph, and that's probably generous. And the eastward shift continues.
