Looks to me like the full quote simply confirms the fact that Hitler's racist ideology was in great part founded in evolutionist theory.
It reminds me of the modern-day apologists for communism: They think that the Soviets just did it wrong.
Once again: Hitler was a creationist. A pagan creationist, but a creationist nonetheless.
In far greater part, however, as confirmed by his speeches, his racist ideology was based on his catholic upbringing in heavily christian, historically anti-semitic Germany.
The claim voiced here, that Hitler, or the German people were pagan tree-worshipping eugenicists is so much creationist wishful thinking, totally un-supported by the historical record. Hitler avowedly was merely making a logical extention of christian teaching and practice toward the jews, as anyone can plainly see from the record of his speeches in support of jewish persecution. He was not appealing to the great mass of germans on the basis of their pagan eugenics leanings, he was appealing to the bible and to catholic and lutheran practices toward the jews of long standing.
