Smehow I doubt you've ever said, suggested, or implied that someone comparing evangelicals or conservatives to the Taliban was engaging in hyperbole.
No I haven't for the simple reason that I've seen enough of these threads to know that most of the time the comparison is not hyperbolic, but honest. This certainly isn't true of all, but I have good reason to believe it's true of a great many.

not making an honest comparison, while someone who might disagree with us on some issue
is making an honest comparison?
