My wife has a degree in pastorial counseling. For several years she has led a ministry call Celebrate Recovery, started by the friend of President Bush, John Baker. She is now the state rep for CR. It is a Christ centered recovery program that has had remarkable success for people recovering from alcohol, drugs, porn, gambling ... etc.
The whole focus of the ministry is getting folks to realize that none of us can heal ourselves and that we are on the road to true recovery only to when we admit that and turn to the
Great Physician for healing.
