and the sheeple who hold Christ's death against the Jews are openly ignorant of the fact that he had to "die" to fulfill the prophecies, just as Judas had to "betray" him. They basically played their foretold roles.
So then you don't believe that "it would be better for him had he not been born" because Judas was just playing his part? Fulfilling prophecy doesn't absolve you from the consequences of sin.
Additionally (because I know this will be your rejoinder), the Jews were held responsible and paid a terrible price for the crucifixion of Jesus. Jesus foretold in numerous places that the current generation wouldn't pass away until they saw the coming of the Kingdom of God. The Jews said they would accept the blame for Christ's death... themselves and their children. In 70 AD, Jerusalem was utterly destroyed with not a stone left on another as foretold by Jesus.
Does this mean that all Jews from them to now are guilty? Of course not. It does mean, though, that sin has its price and what God says will be, will be.
