Yep. Once again she stuck her foot in her mouth. Actually this statement has no quotes from Harris and no where does she state what she really meant in the article. So it appears she is standing by her views in the article. That unless you are Christian you are unworthy to serve in public office. I am offended by this along with many others. There are plenty of good people out there who have strong moral values and are of different faiths.

"God is the one who chooses our rulers. And if we are the ones not actively involved in electing those godly men and women and if people arent involved in helping godly men in getting elected than were going to have a nation of secular laws. Thats not what our founding fathers intended and thats certainly isnt what God intended."
"If you are not electing Christians, tried and true, under public scrutiny and pressure, if youre not electing Christians then in essence you are going to legislate sin. They can legislate sin."

...were going to have a nation of secular laws. Thats not what our founding fathers intended and thats certainly isnt what God intended."In all honesty, I would rather have a liberal senator than one who believes that A) she knows the will of God, and B) that American law is not secular.

Sadly, most non-Christians and about half of the Christians in Congress are social leftists.
I feel much better represented by the average conservative Christian Republican in Congress than by any Jew save Eric Cantor.
