Anyone running with the "Plame outted for revenge" meme was playing politics beyond the water's edge, regardless of when they figured out Armitage was Novak's source, and "anyone" includes Corn.

The man most responsible for outting Plame was Joe Wilson, and he's still playing politics to remake himself into a victim of the consequences of his own dishonesty, bungling, and melodramatics.

What struck me about the Newsweak article was the that so many "administration" people were working there that were not on board with the president. You know that State is rancid with commie lifers but you expect more from politically appointed personnel. Well, the story here is that you don't get it. Instead you get these players covering their asses and working against the truth coming out because it might damage them.
