Mike Isikoff and David Corn, whose work I often discount because of their evident biases, have now produced a new book, reiterating what weve been saying for some time: Richard Armitage was Robert Novaks source about Plame and he kept silent as Scooter Libby, Karl Rove and the Administration in general were battered by the Plame/Wilsons and their proponents. Indeed, it was Corn who days after the Novak piece appeared reported in The Nation that Wilsons wife was a covert agent whod been outed in revenge, the meme that still is being played in the outer regions of sanity.

I'm so glad you're not the fake fifi.
I think this is a duplicate post, and urge everyone to post on the first thread for coherence. Yes, the real fifif. Don't settle for fauxfifis..%^)
So was Corn playing politics to the hilt with this one, even though he knew the true source.
Oops--Posted on wrong thread. Everyone stay RIGHT HERE>
Is their entire book about the Plame blame, or is that just one chapter in a book that generally attacks Bush for the everything unfortunate that happens to anyone?
From the article about the book, it appears this is the focus.

Armitage should PAY for Libby's attorneys, Roves and Cheneys also!!
The man most responsible for outting Plame was Joe Wilson, and he's still playing politics to remake himself into a victim of the consequences of his own dishonesty, bungling, and melodramatics.
Frankly, Armitage and Powell are perfect partners for McC.
who's the hottie?
I thnk that's Miss Valerie herself.
What about the Joe and Val law suit? What will they do for attention next? Will Joe be writing another NYT op-ed insisting that Corn is in the pay of Rove and trying to deflect him and his wife from getting at the truth? Stay tuned.
Perhaps they can go on tour with Brownie of FEMA fame.
This was just a prelude to the Qana disaster for the media. And this media stunt still fails to get the attention it deserves.
What struck me about the Newsweak article was the that so many "administration" people were working there that were not on board with the president. You know that State is rancid with commie lifers but you expect more from politically appointed personnel. Well, the story here is that you don't get it. Instead you get these players covering their asses and working against the truth coming out because it might damage them.
hmmm...brings to mind several ideas...one of which is the old, tired out hollywood-wannabeist tactics of the left. To wit: conjure a story and get a beautiful blonde to play the lead. It's guaranteed to get ratings.
