Not according to the Bible.
Again, not saying I'd do any better in the same boat. Just saying, the Bible is pretty clear what God's thoughts are on denouncing him under threat of death and/or torture. Go re-read the story on Daniel in the Lion's den. Then read about Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego. Then read accounts of Peter denying Christ.
Again, Peter clearly recieved forgiveness. But, it's clearly no Ok to denounce God even under duress.
Also, I'm not so much saying that to condem the Fox guys. I only say it more so to say, we all need to think long and hard about it before doing the same thing. Given the way the world is going and the way this country is going, it's not unthinkable that we would have to face the same situations. What we choose to do is between us and God at the Judgement Seat of Christ, and I FIRMLY believe it is no trivial matter. The Bible talks about it too many times in a very clear way to believe otherwise.
I guarantee all of the FReepers currently blasting Centanni would do the same thing if they were in that situation.
They can be as righteous as they want behind a computer safe in their homes. If they had psychotic murderers pointing guns at their heads they would "convert" to Islam too.
I'm quite disgusted that "Christian" FReepers have the audacity to attack Centanni instead of the Islamofascists who kidnapped them. And I challenge everyone of them to go to Palestine get kidnapped and see if they have the "Faith" to stand up to these thugs.
