Those who believe in nothing will fall for anything, as the old saying goes. So it's only fitting that a Republican Party that has ceased to believe in anything has fallen for Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Wow. Well said. Steve has always been one of the sharpest and most observant members of the press in California.
The California Republican Party needs Arnold the way a starving man needs a tapeworm.

The California Republican Party needs Arnold the way a starving man needs a tapeworm. Hey now that I think of it I like that. I'm going to make it my new tagline.

Steve has always been one of the sharpest and most observant members of the press in California. He's usually much more reserved in his comments, though. He really let loose in this one! He might have well said 'the emperor has no clothes.'
Not only does he point that Arnold has totally distanced himself from the other Republican candidates, but he outlines the track record and highlights the absence of ARnold's support for the Eminent Comain proposition. Principles be damned--it's all about power.
