The Old Saw of "its the voters fault" doesn't cut it. Given political machines and the choice between crook A and Crook B. If you are sick of it and don't vote, thats your fault too. Or, you could say (another old saw) " why don't you run then". Try it; no one will even hear your name, unless you belong to the machine and then guess what? thats right! you are a Crook.

You forgot to mention Diebold machines.
So your point is the voters are not to be held responsible for their choices. Wouldn't it then be more pragmatic to not have elections in N.J. maybe just a coin toss? This way the citizens could have no part at all in their version of self government.
