It was Nagin or Landrieu. I think the people in NO made the best choice in the circumstances. Pathetic choice but Landrieu is part of the problem.
The best/only way to view these Sunday morning, MSM/DNC indoctrinations... is through this thread. ;)
Putting the picture of the busses on the website could be considered a public service announcement.
Welcome back! Are you settled in?
Hope that your daughter's place does not suffer too much damage will be thinking of you and your family.
Words are important, aren't they!
I tried not to use "9/11" in my tagline, but space restricted my preference.
Good to hear rodguy. Ya'll just take care. The Keys can never ignore a hurricane!
There will be various scenarios on Able Danger and 9-11. My own thoughts are Gorelicks separation wall came from Clinton needing to cover up his past involvement in Whitewater and the women he molested. Clinton was the first president to fire all US Attorneys across the country and replaced them all with Democrats loyal to the Clinton machine. Gorelick then issued the higher wall standard between investigations and prosecutions so Clintons deeds would not be investigated or prosecuted. Along these lines, none of Clintons actions were ever investigated. China and the nuclear deals, the changing of business dealings going through the Commerce Department, the phony contributions, the firing of the White House Travel Office, or the many women who accused Clinton of sexual harassment or rape. Virtually none of these were ever investigated to their conclusion and none were ever prosecuted. All of them were stopped by Janet Renos Justice Department.
The resulting terrorist attack on 9-11 was an unintended consequence from the above.
Absolutely and it showed what happens to people if for several generations they have relieved on the welfare state.
:0)
No way we are settled in. We did not move to Durango, CO. We are in the middle of unpacking and getting our lives back together here in Denver. I guess FR will have to put up with my still being Morgan in Denver for awhile longer. LOL
I actually watched a few minutes of Russert's round table and it was breathtaking in its bias!!!!
The central theme was this: Iraq is Dubya's debacle. There is not alternative position. We need to leave, and the Republicans have to distance themselves from Dubya or go down to defeat. Also, any other opinion on Iraq is rationalization. All the panel agreed, including Bob Novak and a senior editor of National Review (her name I did not catch).
Russert is a fool. DBM indeed!
And now, I'm off to church.
It somehow makes it more personal and real rather than referring it as an emergency phone number by the way our emergency number in the UK is 999 not 911.
Wow, your post is mind-boggling.
Because I've always thought that there's so much more to the Able-Danger story than we knew. Obviously there's been an orchestrated coverup to keep it all mum.
Hey, I don't know. I try to put myself in Bush's shoes. It had to be major hell to get his administration up and going what with the Dems trying to steal our lawful election and everything.
Then he comes into office, and by "he" I mean Bush's admin, including Cheney, Condi, Rumsfeld...the major players. And just when he's getting everything sorted out and all the damage cleaned up at the White House, boom, 9-11 happens.
Come on. THAT event had to be almost overwhelming. Because what was involved in the eventuality of that attack goes back far, wide and deep, like a pervasive cancer.
Now the admin has to dig and with each investigation, all this while preparing for war mind you, and they discover all that the Clinton admin swept under the rug. Imagine being in that situation if you can. The FBI, the CIA, all of the alphabet agencies are filled with people with their own agendas and nefarious histories. Then there's Sandy Bergler stealing documents, the infamous 9-11 commission and all the political crap with that. We move on to Joe Wilson, that lovely man.
They've all done nothing but fight this admin to prevent them from discovering how they fell down on the job, at best, were blatently corrupt at worst.
At times, I imagine, the admin had to make difficult choices. It was either destroy the morale of certain important agencies or work diligently to clean out the vipers' nests. This all takes time as you can imagine.
I really hope SOMEONE writes Bush's story as it has to be a good one.
This admin is winning, make no mistake. Winning even with the yappy Greek chorus of self-serving politicos who know they screwed up big time. Winning even with the LSM working against them.
As for PR firms helping the Hezzies, I would not be surprised. Those Muslims have LOTS of money and a PR firm knows how to spin things. For yea many years their PR spin has worked. They know their jobs.
I've no doubt that there's a lot of LSM types firmly on the payroll of some Arab oil-rich thug or thief.
Then there was Katrina and somehow the LSM manages to spin truth into lies that a freaking hurricane was Bush's fault and there were NO WMD's in Iraq.
Dubya needs to tell his story. It'll be a good one if he's brave enough to tell the truth.
I thought Rodguy was joking when he posted that!
Hope you're not too discombobulated. There will probably be things you will find as you unpack that you hadn't seen in years, and other things that you won't find till the next time you move. It never fails.
NO was a perfect example of what happens to a society that depends on the govt. for everything from cradle to grave, it collapse under the weight of too many consumers and too few producers--note to democrats--socialsim/communism doesn't work, especially in the US!
I'll talk to you guys but I refuse to watch Mayor School Bus. Someone mention when he's done lying. He's probably done now. I'll check. :)
