I have thought of this too. As far as the fundamental Islamics are concerned, they have been "converted" and the fundamentalists will hold them to it, despite the coersion. They will use it for propganda amongst their ignorant and indoctrinated masses.
Having said that, and knowing that this is what the fundamentalist Islamics think and is their mindset ...what God in Heaven thinks is an entirely different matter. He will judge these men based on the intent and real thoughts of their hearts.
Forced, coerersed mouthing of words is not conversion, and any rational person knows this in the heart...instead, it is a satanic lie. Conversion occurs in the heart, and God in Heaven looketh on the heart, not on the outward appearance.
THIS IS MY hastily typed Transcript of Steve Centani “Allah” Video. As I watched it, I could see that it had been heavily edited, the camera position jumps several times. I appears Steve had to repeat, re-read several sections until his captors were satisfied. It is very forced and stilted reading.

There is no justification for invading Afghanistan and bringing death, injury and suffering to innocent men, women and children.

Allah knows and sees all of these injustices and according to the Koran, disbelivers will be cast into an eternal fire. But Allah also is ever merciful and the West can change its ways and turn to the purifying power of Islam. The Muslims are good people and have allah in their hearts. And, it’s an offense against Islam and against Allah when muslim people are imprisoned in Abu Ghraib and tortured in their. Islam forbids torture even of non-muslims. Muslim people belive in peace and they love brotherhood.
I have a message for President Bush as well. Islam is not fascism. Words like that only serve to deepen the great chasm between peoples, to fan the flames of anger and distrust that already burn in the Muslim world.
The West is seen as waging war on Islam, and these words, “Islamic fascists” only reconfirm that belief among many. Please President Bush, please Tony Blair, open your minds to Islam and bring peace to all people around the world.
