Don't hold it against them.
I agree. I've had to think about what I'd do in such a situation. I decided that if I were ever kidnapped, I would say whatever stupid things they made me say in order to save my life, no matter how bad it might sound.
I'd retract it all once I was free and in safe territory.
Good to see you, short time! I am not condemning nor criticizing these men for what they did. I am pointing out that the media was compromised when they aired the tape with no disclaimer.

And you are probably the only one of us in a position to HAVE to think realistically.
I would probably do the same, but where is safe territory - especially for these guys? They have high profile jobs & I don't think they will be able to denounce their conversions publicly & still do their jobs.
I'm afraid to say that I don't think there is any "safe territory" left for any of us anymore. Even here in this little hick place I call my home, muslims are all around us. If I ever had to go through such an ordeal & was lucky enough to be released & come home, I would still never feel completely "safe" to denounce what they had forced me to say.
No doubt about it.
After reading over 600 posts here look at how they, the ENEMY who kidnap and brainwash Americans are getting their miserable PROPAGANDA to Americans!
Glad they are released, hate people who think they can get away with humiliating Americans!
It could even be televised world wide.
