Don't misunderstand me - I'm not a particularly brave person, and in that situation, what little courage I have might fail me, and I could well end up groveling at their feet, promising to say anything if only they wouldn't kill me.
But my DESIRE is to die before denying Christ.
I understand that, I also have a love for Christ. But under the circumstance, agree with these idiots for a few minutes or end up on a video having you're head cut off. I think my family would want me more. These people are savages and you CANNOT bargain with them. If it was you or I, wouldn't we be better served at home with our families and not having our heads sliced off for on video for all to see?
