Seems they were offended by President Bush's use of the word islamfacist (sp). The tape said they didn't like anyone using the word. They torture people and then claim to be offended by the use of words or comic strips. These people are not living in reality. Very scary.

I would hope that I would do the same thing. However, you seem to be an extremely strong person. I cannot say that I would not do the same thing as these guys are not that I am a traitor, but I think to be tortured for long periods of time could break some. I would love to be as mentally able to say heck no I won't say things I don't believe, but I can't say for sure that I would. It is a scary situation regardless.

Keep in mind these guys are simply reporters and are not trained to deal with torture and such. They are in a tough situation and might say some stupid things. Don't hold it against them.You find Jesus with your heart, but you find Islam at the end of a sword. There's a lot of space for understanding their situation here. No worries, just prayers for their safe return.

Kimberly's sorry show for the third time. Thanks for the well-needed laugh at this time, onyx! LOL!
I had her show on two weeks ago and a friend watching with me commented, "My goodness, where does she get her hair done? What's growing out of the root (about 1 1/2-2") is a totally different color than the rest of her hair!!!"
And I asked him "You mean most women would notice that, would do something about that, realize it's time for another coloring?"
"Well, yeah, it looks terrible."
I noticed the tiny pen in Centanni's shirt pocket right away, but when it comes to Kimba's roots..... forget about it!

Absolutely. I've felt that way ever since Steve and Olaf were kidnapped. Every word uttered has been very measured and has included messages to those who would do them harm. I've quietly applauded Fox, the family's statements and most especially, Amy Kellogs.
I'll check the thread now and then, but for now...I think I'd do more good on my knees than at this keyboard. God bless us all. We really need it. :)
