Nevertheless, she shocked her television audience by suggesting that she does not want to be trapped into caring for her own mother who is currently ill with Parkinsons disease.
Unbelievable. Was her mother not "trapped" into caring for her when she was a child? Doesn't this woman have any sense of shame?
The Culture of Death is totally self-absorbed and obsessed with death. They have no concept of morality, even the simple children's concept of right and wrong escapes them.
Twenty years ago, my mother asked me if I would help her commit suicide if she had a stroke, or Ahlsheimers, or became incapacitated in some way. I was oh very shocked. Now that she is a VERY healthy 84 she would really like to see 100. I think it's the worry of being a burden on your children or living in a state nursing home that is so upsetting. I know exactly how she felt.
Guess you haven't been following the threads on FReeRepublic about social issues. Every time one of these formerly outrageous behaviors is up for discussion, we are told that only the TALIBAN believe in shame. People who love liberty, freedom, pornography and free sex are completely free of that outdated notion promoted by mythical and oppressive religions like Jesus-worship. (You think I'm kidding? You should read what gets posted here.)
