I really would like to know why it is important to secure iraq's border but the border of the US goes 'un'protected, and excuse me, but I'm tired of hearing excuses from politicians.....and if that is emotional, 'so be it' for I do not want another 911 in this nation, cause then I'll really be pissed off.....and don't come back to me with
GET OVER IT!!!
I've already heard that from the politicians, so if we are 'hit' again, I for one will place the blame squarely on DC
Now excuse me, but if I think 'more' about what the politicians are telling the citizens of the US, I may become ill.

I start from the premise that there is already a substantial portion of the electorate that tends to vote GOP because they feel that Bush has kept us safe, and that the Republicans do a better job combating terrorism. No, Mr. Shaw, you start from the premise that you Dims have been losing elections for a number of cycles now, and you desperately want to believe that the reason isn't because your beliefs and principles are lousy and unwanted by the electorate, but that there must be a solvable reason for your losses, so you have made up this bogeyman about national security.

This lunatic is the end product of a worthless higher educational system designed to produce nothing but thousands of underemployed, undereducated mandarins with no real skills, other than a bottomless willingness to make an attention-whore ass of themselves on the Net at the drop of a hat.
News for you Shaw -- you are a useful idiot to your DUmmycrat Party cadre and nothing more.

I find the 'RATS' thinking a little goofy. They are running around saying that Americans can still "feel" safe during the next Islamic terrorist attack on America if DemocRATS are running the House and Senate. Now that's weird.

This is astounding. This idiot would wish a terror attack so his/her party could win an election? All the more proof that the most dangerous thing that could happen to this country is for the 'Rats to gain control--they have NO judgment, NO common sense, and are willing to sell out their country for a few votes. And they don't want us "questioning their patriotism?" Shoot, that's just ONE of the things we can--and should--question.

What? Question their patriotism?
Besides, treason is SUCH an old school description of what the hezbocrats have indulged themselves in for the last five years.....
I wonder if some of these hotshot Federal Prosecutors (if they could turn off their partisan political side long enough to finally fulfill that oath of office they made) could make a case for conspiracy to commit crimes against humanity or just plain old murder out of just the stuff that comes out of Huffington every week.
.....It's really terrible to be so sarcastic this early on a beautiful Saturday morning.

Well, you have to also look at the 'Rats and their efforts to thwart every single attempt to combat terrorism. You know, it's almost frightening to think how many moonbats there are in this country--during the last election, it was just under half the voters. Many, if not most, of them no doubt believe the President is more dangerous than the terrorists.

okay, everyone here in America,
let's tie our arms and legs behind our backs and go out and fight another war...
sorry but I'm not going to go willing to do that again,
either untie our Military Men and Women, or pray for your own salvation....
I pray God offers you none...... personally I've had enough......It is called "do it," or get out of the way.....and you politicians are who I'm talking to.....I, John Q. Public, am about to be fed up, and if 'more' of our nation's citizens are murdered, I will look at you politicians (all of you) as well as those who did the deed as being responsible.
If that is being emotional, forgive me.

The republicans aren't doing everything they could to combat terror but the democrats would rather surrender than fight. We have one party that attempts to fight terror and another party that does everything to hamper their effort.Putting the democrats in charge of national security would be like putting BJ Clinton in charge of a home for promiscuous girls.

First of all, you have me confused with someone else - I'm not going to tell you any of those things. I happen to agree with you. We are at considerable risk today in this country because those in Washington won't do something as simple as their jobs.
BUT . . . . as angry as we both are at the prospect of a terrorist attack that everyone knows is looming, voting to "punish" the Republicans will only aggravate things in this country - NOT make them better. We still have some measure of control over the Republicans in Washington as long as they hear from enough of us. But, if we hand control of the government to the Dems this fall, we lose our power, we lose our voice, and life will turn to chaos under what passes for their "leadership".
The Republican politicians will have enough of an uphill battle as it is due to their own pandering and negligence. Let's not make the road harder by rolling boulders in their path. We have to remember that it was Bush and the Republicans who gave us the tax cuts that ended the Clinton recession and fueled what is currently one of the best economies in the world. It was Bush and the Republicans who had the moral clarity to take the war to the jihadists and keep them bottled up in Iraq, rather than fight them (so far) here. Those are major issues. Let's give credit where credit is due.
