And another ping for some other stories:

Day 13 (Saturday) Updates from mediabistro.com:

1:44 PM Steve & Olaf: Good News "Within 2 Days?" AP: "Palestinian officials said Saturday they expected to have 'good news' about two kidnapped Fox News journalists within two days, despite an approaching deadline over their fate."

"On Friday, the Palestinian interior minister suggested some progress had been made in securing the hostages' freedom. Ghazi Hamad, the government spokesman, added Saturday: 'I hope that we can hear good news within the coming two days.' Hamad did not give the basis for his assessment."

1:41 PM Steve & Olaf: Are "Safe & Sound"

Steve and Olaf are "safe and sound," the Palestinian interior ministry said today. "We will continue our efforts and contacts to secure the release of the kidnapped journalists," ministry spokesman Khaled Abu Hillal said. "We can confirm that they are safe and sound but we cannot give fuller details for the time being because we want our efforts to be crowned with success."

It's not much, but it's something.

We are with you, Steve and Olaf.
