I didn't say it was right; I said I didn't think it was technically rape, and that parroting this kind of feminist jargon obscures the real problems Islam has with women. Read my comment a little more carefully.
Feminists don't seem to understand that you can't change the world or persuade people to change by monkeying with the language.
But it is, technically and legally, rape.
NY definition of fist degre rape: A person is guilty of rape in the first degree when he or she engages in sexual intercourse with another person by forcible compulsion.
Just being married does not negate the possibility of forcible compulsion.
