Hi All-

Robert Smith of The Cure had mentioned this notion in 1980 on their Boys Don't Cry album. Over the years they have backpedaled from their song "Killing An Arab" on a variety of occasions.

Read the lyrics. It is an existentialist song, based on the novel "The Stranger" by Albert Camus.

R. Smith shouldn't have to backpedal. Idiots criticizing the song should read The Stranger (or at least get a synopsis) instead.
