Today, The President is vacationing at his Parents vacation home in Kennebunkport, Maine, the two Presidents were seen out on their boat doing some fishing

QUOTE OF THE DAY: Family of a fallen Soldier..............."To meet with the president, it's something I never thought would happen," said Nancy Kelley, whose son, Army Capt. Christopher Cash, was killed in Iraq in 2004. "We were honored -- just to share our thoughts about Chris and how he felt about his service to our country." During a half-hour audience with the president, Kelley said they spoke "on a number of subjects, but Christopher was first and foremost." "I had brought him a framed picture of Chris in Iraq with Iraqi children," said Nancy Kelley, who has dedicated a Web site, a scholarship, and a 5K race to Cash's memory. She said she was impressed by the president's interest in her son.

"He cares about every single family, and he has been doing this all around the whole country." Kelley and her husband, Robert, said the 30 minutes passed quickly, and that, thanks to the President's easygoing nature, the conversation drifted. "We had a lot of just general banter about Scottish terriers and Old Orchard Beach and how it was changing," said Robert Kelley.

"We just shared the fact that we were very proud of Chris, and that he was very proud to serve his country," Robert Kelley said. "We've supported the president all the way along. "Chris supported him, we still support him, and we've never had any second thoughts about the president and what he's trying to do."

Hey,

Guess what I did. I was getting ready to drive my car out of the basement garage and the door would not open all of the way. So, you know me, I got a step ladder and was going to try to pull the rope to get it opened. Well, the next thing I knew I was on the floor and my left hand, wrist and arm were really hurting. I went to the dr. today and he said I had a sprain. Oh! Called my neighbor to come over to see if he could open it for me and it was so easy for him. Daughter and I have decided that it is way past time to get new doors. I think these are the original ones and we moved here in 1977. If that was not enough, daughter and I were on the patio talking and watching my dog. The storm door would not close all of the way so I just leaned on it to try to get it to close. Well, the bottom half is glass and it broke. Daughter got that part out and put the whole thing in a trash can. Now, we need to buy new doors to replace all of them--3 upstairs and then then the basement door which is between the 2 garage doors. Never a dull moment around here.

Everyone has offered to help me if I need it but I like to do it myself! Yeah, I should have called him first. I just hate to bother people. The dr. said for me to wear a band brace and use a sling for a week or so and I should be ok. As many falls as I have had over the years, I have never broken a bone. Have had severe torn ligaments and sprains but never a break. Guess all of that milk I drank as a kid did some good. My mother has had several falls too but she has not had a break, either.
