Here we are simply dealing with costs, which doesn't say one word as to how this will affect future immigration. Does anyone believe for one second this will slow or stop future waves of illegal aliens seeking amnesty? This country does need workers to replace the 45 million Americans who have been aborted, but clearly America would be far better off by increasing the number of EDUCATED LEGAL immigrants we allow into the country. I might add there are millions who applied to immigrate here legally who have been waiting in line overseas for 10 to 30 years, and America would be sticking her thumb in the eye of those trying to obey the rule of law. It would be downright evil to provide rights to lawbreakers over those who respect and appreciate what it means to be an American.
