You know for no reason today I was thinking of that old Catskills or Poconos stand-up comedian who has called in a few times. Savage seemed to like him but he is another case of am unwelcome caller, particularly when he would bleed into his 'act' of tired jokes that were old in the 1970s.
What makes him unintentionally mesmerizing is how bad he is - bad jokes, small time comic dropping A-list names as people he knew, etc. It's like a parody. He hasn't got through in a while so I think Savage's peeps is screening him out!
There's nothing like a bad, old standup comic who overstays his welcome! Back to Mount Airy Lodge for him! :-)

Old stand up, the good stuff - there's nothing like it today, - the tired not funny stuff, there's plenty of that around today peppered with foul obnoxious language, funny how the jack benny's, bob hopes, etc never had to use foul language to get a laugh...........

Man, you're bringing a tear to my eye, with the things I grew up with, w. I have a HUGE collection of 50s & 60s hardware, restored and working beautifully. I'm thinking about opening a 50s/60s Diner... Nah. I've got my hands full with my company, now.
