I can remember that day like we all can. It was the worst time of my life. Out of work. No prospect of work either. Sitting at home watching Imess in the Morning when PMSNBC broke in saying a plane has hit the World Trade Center. So I started to surf around and ended up on my local CBS station. At that every moment in time, the second plane hit. I saw that live. Its been burned into my memory ever since. I'll watch that on CNN.com.

A fella I know was a bond trader at Cantor Fitzgerald on the 105th (?) floor.

He was laid off in August of 2001.

I was on a county road near a place called "the dips" just a few miles from Chico, CA when I heard on the radio about the first plane. I immediately called my wife, woke her up, and told her to turn on the T.V. because the U.S. was being attacked by terrorists. As I continued on my way to Vacaville, CA, where I worked, I heard the report on the second strike. I did watch the coverage of the building calapse as it happened. A coworker's cousin was in one of the Towers and did not make it out. My eldest daughter was friends with a girl from her high school that was on Flt. 93. That day will always be remembered.
