Franken was getting something like $7 million a year in salary last I heard. Anybody remember the actual number?

Soros is propping up Air America and no one knows why. I'm surprised NPR hasn't picked up the whole network by trading a fax machine for it.

(If you aren't part of the solution, there is good money to be made prolonging the problem.)

IIRC, Franken gets 2 mill a year, up front. The total overhead of AA must be unreal.

AA has now cancelled Springer, Garafolo has quit, and they are moving shows around to try to fill the gaps. Even Soros can't have deep enough pockets to keep this lead balloon afloat.
Franken, in 2005, got base salary of $1,725,000 paid in advance, plus fringe benefits and potential bonuses. His staff was also well paid. Rhodes also is alleged to be getting big money from AA.

If true, it would be from the likes of Soros or one of his ilk and not from any real revenue Air Amerika generated.
