The deal seems to be that gay communities (with few exceptions) exist in large metropolitan areas. The vast majority of people outside of these areas have little or no contact on a daily basis with gay people other than watching re-runs of Will & Grace.

Oh, I understand that. I spent several years living with my gay Uncle in SF. Actually the only gay person I ever had an issue with was a butch woman. Her girlfriend had the hots for me. As for my Uncle and his friends. You would have never known they were gay toher than their classy homes and supurb taste in food (for real). That was long before the 90's ushered in the "movement" most of them simply hated.

As an antiques dealer, I met and liked a lot of gays. One used to give me nice jewelry whenever we did a show together. He was a good person and so was his partner. My brother-in-law was gay and he was nicer to me than any of his brothers and sisters, including my HUSBAND at the time. I loved him and was very sad when he passed away. What I hate is the gay agenda, not the gay person him/herself. Working at a liberal college, I knew/know many lesbians and gays and they're all nice people. I just never got in their faces (or feces) to cause problems. I just decided to love them where they were. That's God's solution to my feelings about them.
